Prior to coming to the UK in 1999 Dassi (Hadas) toured Isreal as a bass player with Israeli singer Shlomit Aharon and Producer, (sax player) Yaroslav Yaacobovich. Toured with American blues artistes Sweet Gerogia Brown and Shirley Johnson.
While still a student as Rimon School of Jazz & Contemporary music played at the Montreux Jazz Festival with her 6 piece, all woman funk band ‘Belladonna.’ Dassi also played for an entire season on an Isreali television variety show, Dudu Topaz. She featured as a bass player on Shlomit Aharon 1999 CD and Belladonna’s EP (1996). Immediately after arriving in the UK Dassi met singer songwriter William Brown, who she started to work with as a producer. Two years after Williams devastating death in 2001 Dassi recorded Williams songs and asked Ami to take part in that recording. Currently Dassi is working with singer songwriter, Edward Payne and the pair have written several new tracks for ‘Silverland’. When ‘Silverland’ was formed the band was missing a guitar player, Dassi took on the task.
