Drumming since the age of 12. He is an alumni of the University of North Texas, where he studied jazz with Ed Soph. Plays as a session drummer for ‘One Giant Leap’ (featuring Robbie Williams, Maxi Jazz, Nena Cherry, Baba Maal and Eddie Reader among others) He also sessions for Slovo and records for various other projects. Performs regularly all over the UK and Europe playing gigs, festivals and TV performances. Ami endorses Tamburo Drums and Anatolian cymbals. He also spent a year travelling the world on a ship.
